Our journey commences with the collection of our guests from their hotels in El Calafate. If your accommodation isn't among the approved hotels (for instance, Airbnb, private residences), our rendezvous point shall be either at the ACA parking area or the Tourism Secretariat roundabout. As part of a true multi-adventure excursion, we will embark on a 4x4 journey along the legendary Route 40, leading us to the Santa Cruz River, a significant watercourse in Argentina. Upon arrival, our seasoned guide will provide us with the necessary equipment and a technical briefing before we commence our river rowing adventure. As we navigate through the 15 km stretch, we will be gifted with the opportunity to witness breathtaking geological formations, astonishing fossil remnants, and a diverse range of wildlife. These elements served as inspiration for Darwin during his historic exploration in this region. Our journey culminates at the Estancia Río Bote, where we will be greeted with a well-earned lunch alongside the riverbanks! We will then conclude our tour by escorting our guests back to their hotels in El Calafate.
