Tour Description
Day 1: Arrival in El Calafate
Upon arriving at El Calafate airport or bus terminal, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.
Day 2: Mini Trek on the Perito Moreno Glacier (Available from early August to early June)
Los Glaciares National Park
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide will pick you up and take you to the embarkation point at the “Bajo de las Sombras” port, approximately 6 km before the glacier viewpoints. Here, you will embark on a 20-minute boat ride across the Brazo Rico, taking in the stunning views of the Perito Moreno Glacier’s front wall.
You'll disembark on the opposite shore, where our expert bilingual mountain guides will welcome you and guide you to a nearby shelter. After final preparations, you'll proceed along the lake's edge to the glacier's boundary.
Once on the ice, the guide will equip each participant with crampons and demonstrate their use. The subsequent two-hour circuit introduces you to the mesmerizing glacial landscape: streams, small lagoons, gullies, crevasses, and striking ice formations in vivid shades of blue.
The ice surface is uneven yet secure for walking.
Throughout the trek, you'll receive insights about the region's flora, fauna, and glaciology, as well as details on the unique phenomenon that occasionally causes the Perito Moreno Glacier to rupture.
Following the trek, a walk through the forest will lead you back to the shelter. Then, your guide will return you to your hotel.

Day 3: Gourmet Cruise and Glacier Navigation
Los Glaciares National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will take you to the company's private dock “La Soledad” (Bahía Tranquila, Paraje Punta Bandera). Boarding begins at 9:00 a.m.
The cruise sets off northwest, navigating past Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, the lake's narrowest passage at nearly 800 meters wide.
After two hours of sailing among diverse ice floes, we will pause before the ice floe barrier currently blocking the entrance to Canal Upsala. Weather permitting, you'll observe the Upsala Glaciers from a distance.
Continuing through Lago Argentino southward, we'll enter Canal Spegazzini to approach the glacier of the same name. This navigation allows close-up views of the glacier's walls, which rise between 80 and 135 meters (262 – 443 feet) above the lake.
Gourmet Lunch will be served amid this breathtaking scenery.
In the afternoon, the cruise will reach Puesto de Las Vacas (a serene bay in Canal Spegazzini) where the engines will pause for an engaging walk led by our guides. This stop offers stunning panoramic views of the Spegazzini Glacier.
Returning onboard, we will head back through Brazo Norte, arriving at the La Soledad dock at 6:00 p.m., where your guide will escort you back to your hotel after an unforgettable day.

Day 4: El Calafate Farewell
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you'll have some free time before your guide picks you up for your transfer to the airport or bus terminal.
