Our adventure commences with a hotel pickup in El Calafate at 9:30 am.

From there, we embark on a journey along Provincial Route 15, affectionately known as the Route of the Estancias or the Route of the Pioneers. Our knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the current lifestyle of El Calafate, its diverse flora and fauna, all while we revel in the breathtaking Patagonian landscape.
As we traverse this gravel road, our guide will delve into the region's history, particularly focusing on the era of ranching. We will learn about the historic 1921 strike, commonly referred to as the Rebel Patagonia or the Tragic Patagonia, with the Estancia Anita being a pivotal site. Our journey brings us to the Cenotaph, a memorial that commemorates these events.
Throughout our excursion, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Sur and Rico arms of Lake Argentino. Upon entering the Los Glaciares National Park, we'll encounter rock cliffs adorned with ancient cave paintings and gain insights into the lives of the original inhabitants, the Tehuelches.
Next, we embark on a trek to the Mirador del Lago Roca, surrounded by the serene Andean forest.
