Our journey begins with a 4x4 ascent into the Calafate stream valley, where we will embark on a 16 km bike ride guided by our knowledgeable expert. Along the way, you'll be introduced to the area's remarkable features: stunning vistas, unique wildlife, and Tehuelche ruins.
We'll traverse the Valley of the Guanacos before heading back to the Estancia Section to enjoy a well-earned lunch!

The adventure begins with the pick-up of guests from their hotels in El Calafate. If you're staying at a non-authorized location (such as an Airbnb or private residence), the designated meeting point will be at the ACA Parking Lot or at the roundabout of the Secretary of Tourism.
Departing the city in a 4x4, we head south through the Calafate stream valley. After ascending 15 km, we reach the Estancia 25 de Mayo Section, where our MTB bikes await.
Following a technical briefing from our skilled guide, we embark on the Safari Bike, a 16 km biking adventure within the Natural Reserve. During this two-hour journey, you'll encounter a diverse array of local wildlife, including guanacos, foxes, choiques, condors, and eagles.
As we pass through the Guanacos valley and its viewpoint over the Verlika and Baguales hills, we'll arrive at a chenque (an ancient Tehuelche burial site), where we can pause and admire the breathtaking expanse of Patagonia.
The tour concludes with a return to the ranch for a delightful lunch, followed by transport back to the guests' hotels.

Among the most common animals are guanacos, which often move in herds, and condors that soar through the skies. It is also possible to see foxes, Patagonian hares, and, occasionally, the rhea. The steppe provides a unique habitat that harbors a rich biodiversity, offering unique opportunities for observing and photographing wildlife in its natural environment.
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor activities, considering Patagonia's variable climate. Layers to adapt to temperature fluctuations and sturdy cycling shoes are advisable. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Although basic equipment is provided, some participants prefer to bring their own cycling gloves. Safety and comfort are guaranteed at all times with helmets provided by the organizers.
