Upon our return to the estancia, a scrumptious Patagonian lamb meal awaits. Post-lunch, guests are free to explore and enjoy the estancia's amenities.

OPTIONAL: A 4-hour ride option is available for those who wish to extend the equestrian adventure.

Our adventure commences with a pick-up from the prime hotels in El Calafate around midday, setting course towards the Estancia Río Mitre. We embark on a 53-kilometer trip skirting the Lago Argentino before joining route 60 and navigating a gravel path to reach our destination.

As we draw nearer, we will marvel at the ranch encircled by breathtaking landscapes as it is situated against the backdrop of the Andes Mountains and Magallanes Peninsula . Upon arrival, we will be greeted with a warm cup of tea, mate, or coffee along with a welcoming briefing . This will include information about the horses , the safety protocols for horseback riding and important points to remember for the activity.

Next, we will be escorted to the stables to commence our horseback ride towards the banks of Lake Rico . Here, we will circumnavigate the lake , taking in the mesmerizing view of the snow-capped mountains that encircle us . During this time, we will immerse ourselves in nature's tranquility , admire the unique scenery and watch the multitude of migratory birds that frequent the area.

Simultaneously, the guide will provide insights into the history and geography of the region for those interested. This will be a time when everyone has the freedom to explore on their own or accompany the guide to discover the entire area.

Upon completion of the ride, the guide will lead us back to the ranch where a sumptuous Patagonian Lamb feast awaits us, cooked on a spit and served with a diverse range of salads. Post-lunch, we will have some leisure time to explore the ranch's amenities while those who opted for the "4 HS RIDING" option will be engaged in this activity.

After a day filled with incredible experiences , we will journey back to the city and drop you off at your central hotel.
