Descripción del Tour:

Between 7:30 am and 8:45 am, we will collect you from your hotel in El Calafate, setting off towards Los Glaciares National Park, located 80 km away, a highlight of Argentine Patagonia.
After a comfortable one-hour transfer, we'll reach the boarding dock at "Bajo de las Sombras" port.
Here, we will set sail for a 20-minute cruise along the Rico arm, taking in the breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno glacier. The navigation in front of the glacier's southern wall is absolutely stunning, making one feel dwarfed by the massive ice expanse.
Upon reaching the opposite shore, a secluded natural area accessible only to tour participants, we will disembark and be greeted by our specialized bilingual mountain guides who will lead us to a small shelter.
After finalizing details for a group of no more than 20 people, we will commence the trek along the lake's edge towards the Perito Moreno glacier.
Upon reaching the ice, the guides will equip each person with crampons to attach to their shoes and will explain their usage. These metal attachments provide the stability necessary for safe ice walking.
Once prepared, we'll embark on a 2-hour glacier walking circuit. During this hike, we'll explore streams, small lagoons, ravines, crevasses, and numerous mesmerizing blue ice formations.
The ice surface is uneven yet stable and secure. Our expert guides will chart the course and provide assistance to anyone in need.
Participants within the authorized age range who possess good mobility can partake in the activity without difficulty.
There will be stops for photography to ensure plenty of content to share on social media.
Throughout the walk, we will learn about the flora, fauna, and geology of the national park. Understanding the glacier's formation over millennia and the rupture processes we'll witness later on the catwalks is truly fascinating.
To conclude this exclusive activity, we'll enjoy a glass of whiskey uniquely prepared with ice sourced from the glacier itself.
After the toast, we will return to the shelter, where we will board for another 20 minutes of sailing back to the port of Bajo de las Sombras. There, the bus will be waiting to take us to the viewpoint, which includes amenities like restrooms, dining options, and the start of the walkway path.
We will have free time for lunch (there is a restaurant near our drop-off point) and to explore the balconies and walkways of the Perito Moreno glacier. Built on varying levels, these walkways offer unique perspectives for capturing stunning panoramic photos.
We suggest bringing a bottle of wine, water, and snacks for a picnic on the benches along the wooden pathway.
To wrap up the experience, we'll return to the hotels with our transfer, retracing the route from the glacier park back to the hotels in central El Calafate.
