For those in search of a truly unparalleled adventure, we present this excursion that promises an experience like no other! You will be provided the opportunity to sail amidst floating icebergs and embark on a 4x4 expedition along a mountainous trail once concealed by glacial formations, culminating in a hike through some of the most stunning vistas imaginable.
Our Estancia Cristina Discovery journey commences with a voyage among icebergs leading to Estancia Cristina. Here, you will tour the Folklore Museum, and witness notable landmarks such as Uppsala Viewpoint with its imposing eastern face, Lake Guillermo, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, and the Murallón and Don Bosco Hills.

Your adventure commences at 7:30 AM when you're collected from your city-based Calafate accommodations. Journeying 45 km, we traverse the rural landscape, showcasing quaint timber homes dotted along the way.
Upon arrival at the Punta Bandera Port nestled in the Argentino Lake, we embark on a modern, luxurious vessel, setting sail to commence our maritime exploration. As we navigate past majestic icebergs, we traverse the northern arm of the Argentinian Lake, reaching the authorized navigation limit in the Upsala Channel, and thus behold a panoramic spectacle of the glacier's facade. We persist sailing through the Cristina Channel until we reach the Estancia, estimated arrival time being 11:30 am. During our six-hour sojourn at the Estancia, we pay a visit to the Museo Costumbrista, situated in a former shearing shed, where the Estancia's storied past is unveiled.
Afterward, 4x4 vehicles tailored for the terrain await to embark on a 9.5 km expedition, via Cordón Feruglio, on a mountainous trail previously blanketed by glaciers. Throughout the journey, we'll marvel at geologically intriguing landscapes, culminating at the Continental Ice Refuge.
A 20-minute hike from this point leads us to the Upsala Lookout, perched 550 meters above sea level, presenting breathtaking views of Guillermo Lake, the formidable Eastern front of the Upsala Glacier, the Southern Patagonian Ice, and the Murallón and Don Bosco Hills.
Circa 5:30 PM, we reboard our vessel to commence the homeward journey to Punta Bandera Port. Upon disembarkation, around 7:30 PM, you will be chauffeured back to your lodgings, signaling the tour's completion.
