All Glaciers At Sunset

If you booked the port transfer, the Sunset Sailing experience begins in the city of El Calafate. You will be picked up at your hotel between 11:00 and 11:30 am and taken to Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from the city. 

Upon arrival at the boarding terminal, our experienced team will be waiting for you and we will assist you with the pre-boarding process, as well as tell you where to purchase the ticket to Los Glaciares National Park, if you do not have it yet. At 12:30 pm, boarding begins on our boats, and at 1:00 pm we set sail towards the Spegazzini Channel. 

The journey will allow you to enjoy the spectacular colors of the Patagonian sunset. Our first stop is at the Spegazzini Base, right in front of the Glacier of the same name. Here we stop to see the impressive panoramic views and enjoy the comforts of the modern Spegazzini Refuge, where we optionally offer you lunch with the best view. 

After lunch, we return to the boat to continue our journey. During the tour, you will see three unique glaciers: Heim Sur, Peineta and the imposing Spegazzini Glacier, the highest of all at over 135 meters. 

After enjoying the view of the Spegazzini Glacier, we continue towards the Dry Glacier and finally to the Upsala Channel. Here, sailing between the icebergs that have broken off from the Upsala Glacier offers an unparalleled experience.

Around 8:00 p.m., we will return to Puerto Punta Bandera.
